Yate, a commuter town and civil parish in South Gloucestershire, at the southwest extremity of the Cotswolds Hills just 12 miles northeast of Bristol City Centre and 98 miles from London. With a growing population of 30,849 (in 2016) Yate needs to expand and re-imagine it’s commercial infrastructure to keep up with changing trends.
Yate Riverside is located on Link Road opposite Tesco Extra and situated in the old overflow car-park for Yate Shopping Centre. This £25 million development includes a six-screen cinema operated by Cineworld, 2 food outlets Frankie & Benny’s as well as Nando’s and 3 retail outlets TK Maxx, Pets at Home and Next which has Costa coffee situated upstairs.
Work at Riverside commenced in early 2015 and mostly completed in spring 2016 when the cinema opened.
NatraTex Coloured Surfacing Highlights Access Routes and Parking Bays
Conventional tarmacadam was used for the access routes and NatraTex Cotswold was used to distinguish between the access routes and the parking bays, as well as bringing a touch of colour to the new development. NatraTex Cotswold compliments both the surrounding area and retail development with its understated Cotswold stone.
NatraTex Cotswold gets its name from use of the Cotswold aggregate and lack of added pigment, mixed with NatraTex’s own clear synthetic binder it retains its natural colour. NatraTex remains sympathetically pleasing to the surrounding environment no matter what the project, from new housing developments to retail schemes.
NatraTex is an alternative to conventional tarmacadam, resin bound paving and other coloured hard landscaping materials, but shares similar characteristics with conventional tarmacadam being laid at the same depth and sub layers (base and binder course).
NatraTex is not a resin but a fully bonded decorative landscaping material.
