Resin-bound paving differs from resin-bonded paving because it is fully bound. This means that the aggregates are fully mixed within the resin prior to laying. In resin bonded paving the resin is laid first, and then the aggregate is sprinkled over the top. This means that it is not fully bound and therefore aggregates can become loose over time. Furthermore, the surface is not as smooth in resin bonded paving as it sits on top of the resin.
